- Is it really free?
- Yes. You can add your guests, seat them at tables, save your plan and print it without paying. The free version holds up to 2,000 guests and 300 tables, the same as the paid one. You only pay if you want the extras in the Wedding pass.
- Do I need an account?
- No. There's no sign-up, and the free version never asks for your email. Open the page and start. The Wedding pass doesn't need an account either. Checkout asks for an email for your receipt, and you get private links instead of a password.
- Where is my chart saved?
- A free chart is saved in this browser, on this device. It isn't sent to our server. To keep a copy or move it to another computer, download a backup file from the Plan menu. With the Wedding pass, your plan is also saved online, so you can open it on any device.
- Can my partner or planner edit it?
- Yes, with the Wedding pass. You get a separate edit link to send them, and they can make changes from their own phone or laptop. If you both change the plan at the same time, Seatwell asks which version to keep.
- What happens if we change tables the night before?
- With the Wedding pass, your guest page reads your plan as it is now. Once your change is saved online, the next guest who searches sees the new table. You don't need to reprint the QR sign. A printed list or sign can't change, so print those last.
- What sizes can I print?
- The free seating list prints on Letter or A4 paper, by table or A to Z. Seating signs come in 18 × 24 in and 24 × 36 in, as a PDF you can take to a print shop. The Wedding pass adds place cards, escort cards, table numbers and a QR sign, on Letter paper.
- When are guest names deleted?
- A free plan stays in your browser and never reaches our server. For a Wedding pass event, the guest page closes 60 days after your wedding date, and all event data, including guest names, is deleted 90 days after it. The owner can delete the event sooner at any time.
