The free tools

You can make a seating chart without an account and without paying. A plan can hold up to 2,000 guests and 300 tables per layout, on the free tools and with the pass alike. Your plan is saved in your browser, and you can download a backup file, use plain print, and make one sign design. The free sign carries a small “Made with seatwell.app” credit.

The Wedding pass

The Wedding pass costs $15 plus tax where it applies, in US dollars. You pay once, for one event. It is not a subscription and it does not renew.

The pass adds:

• A live find-your-table page and a QR sign.
• A partner or planner edit link.
• Caterer and venue reports, as PDF and CSV.
• Saving online, so you can open the event on any device.
• All sign designs, plus place cards, escort cards and table numbers, with no credit line on your sign.

Stripe takes the payment and works out the tax at checkout. You choose your event date when you pay. One pass covers one event. The event can have more than one layout, for example a rehearsal dinner and a reception. Please use one pass for one event.

How long the pass lasts

The guest page closes 60 days after your event date. Your event data, including guest names, is deleted 90 days after your event date. Download what you want to keep before then. Our privacy page has the details.

Refunds

You can get a full refund within 14 days of buying the pass. Email hello@gradients.studio from the address you paid with, and we will send the refund back through Stripe.

After a refund, the paid features stop. The event becomes read-only, so you can open it but not change it, and the guest page closes. The event is deleted 90 days after the event date, like any other.

Your guest list

You are responsible for the names and notes you enter, and for having the right to use them. We use guest names only to run your seating chart.

Printing

Seatwell makes print-ready files, but we cannot promise how they will print. Colors, sizes and how names fit depend on the printer and the paper. Order a proof from your print shop before you print everything. If a font cannot draw a name, Seatwell tells you, and you should check those names yourself.

Fair use

Please do not try to get around the search limits on the guest page, collect guest names from it, or break the site. We may block use that harms Seatwell or other people.

Service

Seatwell is provided as it is. We work to keep it running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. Keep a backup file, and download your signs and reports a few days before your event.
